Chatting with ART

The apartment is located at The Peak West, with a net area size of 260m2. The owner was an art collector and investor. He would like to integrate his daily living, art collection, social gathering, entertainment, and home office together with a non-traditional design. 

Facing the challenge, layout-wise, we have created an unordinary space by integration concept, with integrating kitchen, dining, and entertainment, and with integrating home office, art gallery, social gathering together. 

By integrating art pieces into living area, we wanted every single piece of art could be able to speak by itself, meanwhile, the design material without overwhelming the art collection. The space was sub-divided by a large partitions, which could be easy to accommodate art pieces like gallery with off-white finishes. Natural Ashwood flooring with various wood patterns was chosen to enhance the natural touch. And those finishes were throughout the entire space for continuously the touch. Mixing with modern and antique furniture was also reflecting harmony integration, instead of mix and mess.
